Please help: H1B did two jobs

I am holding H1B visa, but I taught a few classes for a Chinese school during weekends without knowing it's illegal. Now I received form 1099 (only about $700) from the school. Does it affect GC application if I file the form with my tax return? What should I do? Thank you very much for your help.
