请问专家们：公司律师说去边境即可将TN转成H1B（我的H1B还有一年多一点的有效期，I140已批准）。是这样吗？

-Does the employer have the H-1 approval notice for you? If yes, you can go to the US-Canada border to get the H1 I-94. Another choice is that the employer files I-129 to change your TN to H1 within US.

我女儿也跟着我从TD转H4，她必须去边境吗？
-Yes if you go to the border to get your H1.

从TN（TD）转H1B（H4）期间，有无进出国的限制？
-If you file change of status within US, you cannot c travel during the H1/H4 pending
