我的opt－stem是到 June,2019过期，然后到18年1.17是我 150 unemployment days 过期。 所以您的意思是说，即使我到了1.17号还没有找到工作，我也可以留在美国么？我听说如果失业期用完，不管有没有找到工作，都不能再工作并且不能再留在美国了。因为我看到这句话

  • Students on post-completion OPT-STEM may not accumulate more than 150 days of unemployment or you will be out of valid F-1 status. 

 所以我的理解是，一旦150天失业期满我没有找到工作，我继续呆在美国就不合法了，请问是这样么
-Technically yes because you do not have a legal status(i.e. you are out of status), but your stay during this period (before the OPT I-94 expires) is not counted as unlawful presence unless USCIS send you a letter to remind you to leave US. Thus, you will not be subjected to 3- or 10-year bar if you leave US. So, it is  safe for you to go to China to get the H-4 visa to come back if your H-4 application is not approved in US.

Also, USCIS will not know your unemployment until your school put the information into SEVIS.
