我是J1已豁免，正在办理H1b，但J1很快到期，到期前估计H1b办不下来。我可以通过J1转F1，等H1b通过后再转回H1b的方式保住身份？
-Yes. But if your employer files the H-1 petition before the J-1 expires, then you can legally stay in US and wait for the H1 approval to work, not need to change it to F-1. Also, it may take several months to get the F-1 approval.
