LD持H1b签证，在回国期间不幸遭遇整个部门被裁掉（4月中），目前LD在中国，刚刚找到另外一家公司愿意给offer，接下来应该做哪些工作能尽快返美？（通过考古知道应该要办理H1b transfer，但是不知道具体的步骤）

-Ask the new employer to file the H-1 petition and had better use premium processing to get it approved in 15 days. Then, your spouse can use the H-1 approval notice to apply for the H-1 visa in China. Also provide the job offer letter for the H-1 visa application.

还有，我本人原来持有H4签证，现在应该失效了。我目前在美国，是否应该尽快出境 然后等着和LD一起去领事馆签证重新拿到H4再返回？

-Yes. You may just wait for the H-1 petition approval, and then go to China to apply for the H-4 visa together with your spouse.

有没有可能待在美国等待LD返美（因为家里有孩子正在上学）？

-No. You may wait for your child's vacation time (a few weeks later), and then go to China.

会不会影响将来申请绿卡？

-No as long as you get the H-4 visa to return to US.
