麻烦您一下，我的J1即将过期，EB1的485等了半年多了。如果现在要求办H1B（研究所是非盈利的）会影响485吗？

-No if your employer file it before your J-1 expires.

-Yes, but you have to go to China to get the H-1 visa and this may affect your I-485. So, unless your I-485 is denied, you may just use EAD to work. especially your I-485 was based on EB-1A, which will be approved very soon.

By the way, have you got J-1 waiver before you filed I-485? If yes, don't think you need to worry anything.
