2009年拿J1 签证做交换生来加州学习半年


2012年8月 来美国上硕士

2014年8月找到工作，现在要办H1B

H1B申请里有一条

1） 这个应该是Yes，还是No.呢？
-Say "Yes".

2） 如果是Yes，是不是必须要obtain waiver呢？
-Depends on whether his J-1 needs J-1 waiver. Some J-1 does not need waiver, such as short term J-1 (i.e. no more than 6 months). So, he needs to check whether his J-1 needs waiver.

3） 如果要waiver，那应该怎么申请处理呢？
