上次请教过您，按您的建议给学校发过去，有非常大的效果， 但是他们又找到其他理由了，我是博士后，合同是一年一签的，今年合同快到期的1个月时，老板说没钱了，不能雇用我了，学校秘书本来说会给多给我一个月的工资，后来说是H1B 不能给我，您给我的信息，我转发给他们，他们又说是因为我是合同到期了， 所以不能给我这个钱，这样合理吗？
-If you were laid off before the contract ended (even if one day in advance), you should be qualified for the benefit. Just tell the HR, you will sue them in the court for this issue if they refuse to pay you (just scare them first to see what happen). Tell them your lawyer will contact them soon. 

在老板通知我走人之前一个月，刚刚帮我申请了H1B 的renew ,我还有什么办法争取自己的利益吗，主要在离开这个工作之后的一个月里去医院看了几次病，有比较大的账单，当时问学校了，学校说保险这个月是有效的（有Email 的证据），如果不多发给我这个月的工资，那么这个月的看病就得我自己付钱了，非常感谢！
