H1-B petition

Dear friends,
I am applying my H1 extension for next year.
My advisor will extend my appointment for 4 months
and the money will be $14000.
When I filled out the forms, they all ask for salary
of per year, here I am wondering what I should answer,
either this amount and put a note on the side
indicating this is for 4 month or
multiply this number by 3? But neither looks fine
for me.
