我外甥自从去年5月进一家公司实习后，一直以CPT 在这个公司工作。他将于今年5月硕士毕业，公司想继续聘用他，并愿意帮他办身份和工作签证。因为工作性质关系，他以后要经常去国外工作，近期公司希望他毕业后先去中国工作一段时间。
请问如公司现在开始帮他同时办绿卡和H1B 签证， 我外甥能否在绿卡申请批准前，先用H1B 签证去国外工作?

如他长期在国外工作，是否会影响他的绿卡申请？
