我现在有一个三年的TN，如果再办H1B还要等4月申请，据说十月才生效，到时再办绿卡是不是又晚了点？

-I have told you that your green card applicaiton does not matter to your H1 or TN status. So, ask the employer to do it the sooner the better.

但公司说办绿卡先办H1B。还有两个问题：一旦让公司申请绿卡了，是不是就不能跳槽了？

-You hav to wait until your file I-485 for 180 days, then you can change your job. Otherwise, you can not file I-485 using this I-140 unless your current employer agree to hire you back.

拿到工卡要多久，我太太是否也能同时拿到并可以工作。

-You and your wife can file EAD application together with filing I-485. This will happen about 5 or more years later.
