H1B到9月30号就已经满6年了。现在的公司给办了Perm和140。H1B extension刚刚递上去还没批。要是现在我跳槽的话可以做H1B transfer吗？
-Yes, techniaclly, but it is very risky because if your H1 extension is denied, then the "bridge" will be born and thus,, your H1 transfer will be denied also and you will never can be the H1 status again unless you stay outside for at least one year. So, you had better not change your job until the H1 extension is approved. Also, if your employer (I-140 sponsor) withdraw the approved I-140, you can not use it to extend/tranfer your H1 beyond the 6 year H1 limit, so you had better keep good relationship with your current employer even if you leave.
