谢谢8老师的及时回复. 可是再过10天grace period就结束了, 估计来不及提交H1B petition 了, 何况学校办事效率极低. 所以还有四个问题:
(1)可不可以先transfer I-20到一个新的program(比如Kaplan international MBA program) 或新的学校来达到留在美国等H1B的目的?
-Yes, technically. But the rpoblem is that your new I-20 start date will be later than your H1 start date due to the Fall Semester is in the Mid- or late Aug, and thus, your new I-20 may not solve your problem.
(2)如果这样做, 会不会有风险, 对H1B申请不利?(will it complicate the H1b application process?)
(3)另外还有什么办法可以避免回国等H1B吗?
-May change your status to B2, but the problem is that if the B2 approval than the H1 approval, your final status will be B2 and thus, you need to do the H1 petition again or go out of US to get the H1 visa.
(4) 是不是回国等H1B是比较保险的做法? 有风险吗?(比如签证来不及等等?)
-You should have no problem to get the H1 visa.
