H1b holder will lose his current job in the coming August. The whole family has filed I485 this Jan (NIW). We got AP and EAD combo card in Feb. we have used AP to go back China in Mar. Spouse are using EAD for working. My questions are:
(1) If H1b holder cannot find new job before leaving current job, or new job cannot sponsor H1B, what we can do is using EAD card for new job. Is there any nagative effect on our I485 approval?
(2) Should new job be in the same field as before or can be different?
