难道这段时间所有雇主都没有办法再请外国人吗？我的雇主希望我能4月开始上班，HR的人说一般签证处理时间大概6-8星期，这个说法靠谱吗？我现在人不在美国。如果要等到10月后才能上班，雇主可以等这么久吗？

-If your employer is a college/university or non-profit organization, your employer can file the H1 petition now and you can work immediately after the H1 petition is approved, not need to wait to file it in April and work in Oct.
