-It is very risky for you to change your job now because you can not be sure the new employer will file PERM for you unless you are very brilliant and they want you very much. I suggest you to stay with your current employer to get the I-140 approval. Then, use thisa approved I-140 to extend your H1 beyond the 6 year or transfer your H1 (h1 transfer include extension) to a new employer.
