no big deal.Right now file I539 immediately, ask ur unversity to provide I20 with her name( not only urs)on it.

Next step is discuss with her boss no matter how mean he is. the company has to provide lay-off letter( like she got offer lerletter)

USCIS will ask for this letter for RFE eventually.


File I539 ASAP, don't have to hire attorney, it's an easy case (attach photocopies os last paystub)
