It is now taking them approximately 4 weeks to process a prevailing wage request. There is no way to expeditiously process the prevailing wage. Once we have the prevailing wage back, if we cannot meet the wage, then we either have to resubmit to try for a lower wage (which could take another couple of weeks), or the department may have to raise your salary, or an H-1B may not move forward.
