回复：请教H1B transfer期间办H4的问题

H1B七月到期，正在办理延期，材料还没给律师。LD也是H1B，但想辞职转H4。请教这种情况应该怎么办理？

选项一：我先办延期，批准后，LD再辞职转H4。

 

选项二：LD现在就辞职，H4申请跟着我的H1B走。

-File the I-539 to change his/her H1 to H4 with your H1 extension at the same time, and then, he/she can resign.

但这样会不会导致H4和H1B一起在八月才生效？

如果是，那现在到八月间的间隔怎么算？
