Can I get a new H1B 6 years?

My current H1B 6 year limit is running out and I have not applied for labor certificate. The company wants to keep me so they ask if I can go back to China to American Consulate there and apply for a new H1B using a new offer letter from them. Has anyone done this before? How is the success chance?
