今年六月二十一日，开始在一家HR公司作contractor, 他们找到一个律师行开始办H1B transfer.说只要移民局收到申请，就可以合法开始工作。

-Correct.

也说一到两个星期手续就可以办完。上班三个月之后，律师说现在只排到六月二日。

-Don't underestand what "现在只排到六月二日" means.

 还说如果移民局deny this transfer，the status during that period becomes invalid.

其实六月十一日，移民局已经收到我的I485申请（这个是跟我太太的绿卡）我在八月二十一日收到EAD。律师说没用，H1B transfer has to be approved to cover the period from 6/21 to 8/21 and it will influence the I485 application too if denied.

-Not true. Even if you worked illegally during that period of time, will your I-485 not be affetced based on 245 (k) because this period of time is less than 180 days. So, nothing needed to worry about.
