HELP: H1B VS TAKING CLASS

I am a H1B holder at one university and it is free to take class as a benefit for all employees. But I am a H1B holder, am I legally to take classes and study for a higher degree (assuming admitted) as a part-time student and work full time as specified in H1B at the same time? The best answer will be from international student office at the university, but i really want to get your input before I talk to them. Thanks.
