6 years H1B expiring soon, help!

My 6 year H1B will expire by the end of Aug. My I140 was sent in the middle of July. I know I still have chance to extend my H1B if my case is accepted by the end of Aug. How long does it normally take to get a acceptance notice? Thanks.
