回复：H1B免税问题

借这里的人气问一下，现在H1B签证的免税政策到底是怎么样的啊？为什么有的人告诉我是头三年免税；有的人说不免税。
-If you had never been US and got the H1 visa in China annd directly came to US, you are qualified for 头三年免税. But if you entered US with another kind of visa (e.g. F1) and then, changed your status (e.g. from F1) to H1, you are not qualified for the 头三年免税

-This rule only applys to the Federal Tax, not state tax related.

我在Texas，最近要换H1B，准备和HR谈工资的事情，想了解清楚。
-If seems you did not enter US with h1 recently, and if so, you are not qualified for the 头三年免税.
