因为我的H1-B已经用了5年，我是EB-2，刚刚递交I-140申请。根据现在的排期我还要等5，6 年才能递I-485。

我最大的担心是如果我坚持用H1-B，在等待的5，6 年中，如果工作发生变故如失业等，我将要面临离境的危险，因为H1-B已经超过6年（经过一年一年的延期）。
-After you rI-140 approval, you can extend your H1 at three years interval (not different from TN) and also can do h1 transfer if you change the employer. If you lose job, your TN has the same problem as your h1.

如果我现在主动转成TN，期间即使雇主改变，我的PRIORITY DATE还在，在第5，6 年时，可转成H1-B然后迅速同时递出I-140和I-485。
-You can file I-140 after the PERM is approved, and wait for the PD to be current to file I-485. Filing I-140 does not affect your TN filing/TN status. So, whether you have H1 or TN, everything on your legal status is exact the same. Of course, if you worry aboyt that your employer may have no the ability to pay you at the prevail wage level, TN is the better choice than H1.
