有关H1B Transfer的疑问

我最近找到了一家更好的公司并且同意H1B Transfer.我的TRANSFER应该绝对没有问题,因为我是相同领域,相同的JOB TITLE转换．我现在的困惑的问题是，照规定，我要向现在的雇主提前２个星期辞职，但是我应按再什么时候说的，是等我的Ｈ１Ｂ转换好了之后说，还是提起可以说？如果转换好了再说，那其实已经来不及了，因为我认为一旦转换好了，我就不能再为老的雇主工作了，如果还没有转换好就说，我有可能从老的雇主辞职后，新的还没转换好，那我不是非法居留了？我感到很困惑，因为一般在美国辞职，都要２星期前通知现在的雇主，交接工作．可是，我要Ｈ１Ｂ转换，好象太早说也不好，太晚说也不好，大家都杀怎么处理的？我相信肯定也有人转换过Ｈ１吧？
