USCIS normally takes several months to revoke the approved H1, so you/your employer have to make sure your h1 is revoked before Oct. 1. Otherwise, if your H1 is revoked after Oct.1, your status will be a problem (you need to go outside of US to get the F1 visa to come back in this case).
