1，我们学校最近在Cut off salary 5%。刚刚有个哥们绿卡批了，在人事处更新了材料，替换了H1B，学校下个月就给他cut off 300刀，心疼死了。我和他一模一样，现在是H1B,刚刚延期三年，Salary没有变化. 就怕我一更新材料，换成绿卡，学校CUT我的工资。所以不想告诉学校绿卡批了。这样违法吗？
-When your green card is approved, your H1 status terminates automatically. You need to show your GC to the employer and they will make a copy and keep it on file.

2，如果在学校保持H1b，自己用绿卡再找个part time的工作，可行不可行？
-You can work part-time for any employers as long as it does not conflict with your school policy (some schools restrict their faculty to work outside during the academic semester)

违法吗？
