我07年10月1日H1B生效，12月转到现在的公司。
这个月向HR申请RENEW H1B，被拒，说还没到时候，得等到六月。律师说，FORM I-797A上H1B valid from 12/1/2007 until 11/30/2010，还说VISA is different from work authorization.我的visa expire 9/30,work authorization expire 11/30.所以要等到六月才能RENEW H1B。

我是彻底糊涂了，难道USCIS还给了三年两个月的H1B？
-Correct. Your lawyer is right. When you do H1 transfer, it means you file a new H1 with the new duration (not related to your previous h1 duration) and if you have more than three yearas for the 6 year H1 lomit, USCIS will approve your h1 transfer fore another three year duration from the date you do the transfer.
