I have worked in a research institute with an H1B visa for one year, and I
want to change my job to work in another research institute. I am not sure whether I can still extend my H1B after 3 years if I change my job. Anyone

-You need to ask your new employer to file the H1 transfer for you for 3 year H1 duration counted from the date you begin to work for the new employer. This new h1 duration is irrelevant to your current h1 duration (of course total your H1 will be 6 years including all your employers).
