I heard so many cases people hold H1 visa. But when they cross the border into the US they still need AP,
-If they come back to U.S. within 30 days, not AP or H1 visa is needed. These people may over-worry.

or risk being denied entry.


Is my case any different (old I-485 denied; New I-140 approved, but no new I-485 yet)?
-I do not think you need to worry about that either.
