回复：申请H1B的问题！请教大侠们

我现在是OPT期间，因为原来的雇主不支持H1B，所以我刚找了另一个雇主，开始办H1B。雇主让我找律师，办理prevailing wage, advertisement,etc.我自己出费用，他负责出需要的证明资料。我的问题是：
1. 现在开始准备来得及吗？

2. 现在的prevailing wage需要在national center办，有人知道这会不会耽误很长时间？

3. 我现在需要做这个job position的广告吗? 律师助手说不用，最多就是在工作的地方贴个posting就行了。

我有些迷惑了，是现在贴，还是申请递上以后呢？

4.原来在学校工作的时候用过两年的H1B，现在申请占quota的H1B，会不会有影响？
-You still need a H1 quote if you apply for an industryial company (cap limit). If your new job is in a school, nothing will affect it (you do not need a h1 quote),

5.律师说现在不用急，在三月底把资料递上就可以了。
-Depends on when your OPT expires. You need to get the H1 approved (it may take several months) before you can work for the new employer, so do it as soon as possible.

可是我们除了填了些表格以外，其它什么都没做，我是不是该催促他呢？原来都是学校秘书做好一切，所以我对这一切都没有概念。
