-Based on the law, yes.
自己的Personal Check 会有问题吗？
-Some people just use personal check and it works (usually USCIS does not care about that). You also can pay the fee to the lawyer and then, the lawyer issue a check too USCIS.

-No more. It may a couple of weeks now.

By the way, this job inculding all the precedure for H1 filing should be done by the employer or the lawyer, not by you personally.
