老公，大学postdoc，H1B今年4月到期，老板同意延期。但去学校相关部门办理延期时被告之太晚了，说3个月时间不够完成所有表的准备，

As long as USCIS receives your hu*****and's H1 extension petition application, he can continue to work (not need to wait for the approval). So, just ask the school to do the h1 extention petition for him and it has much enough time to do it.

说是H1B的申请步骤与以前不同，需要的时间不够。递了I-140，不能转J1，现在身份存在大问题，大家有没有好的建议？
