My situation is that a small software company sponsored me to get a new H1b which will be activated on October 1 this year. My H1b used 2005 quota which might be exausted this month. I think my boss just does not want me to leave, so he told me my H1b is not transaferrable. I am not sure if it is true. I wonder if he can notify USCIS to make my H1b not transferrable?
