797A表上写的有效日期是到2009年10月31号。我在九月份持H1B签证入境时，海关人员在I94卡上写的日期是2009年11月10号，比797A的失效时间晚10天。
-Your H1 expired on 2009年10月31号, not on 2009年11月10号. Because H1 status has ten day grace period, CBP usually gives the h1 holder i-94 ten days more than the h1 expiration date and that means the h1 holder has ten days to prepare his leaving U.S. (lawful presence but out of status in this period of 10 days).

So, USCIS has nothing wrong in your H1 petition approval. I suggest you just go out of U.S. to get an H1 visa to come back and that is a simple way.
