Thank you for the information, My company might be applying a business visa for me to work in Toronto, this way I don't know whether there are any limit when i am coming back to America, one concern is if they would send me back to china and restamp with all documents?
-You need to get an H1 visa to come back to U.S. after you finish your job in Canada. You can get the visa in a US consulate in Canada or in China (it is up to you). So, you need to make sure the h1 does not expire (the expiration date is on the approval notice) when you apply for the visa. If it expires, you need to ask the company to file a new h1 petition and get it approved before you apply for the visa. The time you are out of US will not be counted as the 6-year h1 duration limit. Also, you need to provide/turn in your I-94 to the Airlines or US Customs when you leave US for Canada.
