回复：lay off and lost H1-B (**emergency**)

I was just laid off.

Right now, my hu*****and is H1-B. How do I transfer to his H4?
-File I-539 following the intruction. In addtion, you need to provide your 3 recent paycheck stubs, your hu*****and's H1 approval notice with the I-94, your hu*****and 3 paycheck stubs, your marriage certification. Your kid needs to provide his birth certification also.

Unfortunately, my son is my H4 and also need to be transferred to my hu*****and's H4.

As far as I know, the USCIS need 2 or 3 months to deal with H4 application. How to keep the legal status before getting H4?
-Whne you file your H4 application, you are lawfully present during the application pending. so, nothing worried about.

Need advice immediately and waitting online...
