2.我是要在10/10/09 之前离境吗？
-If you can file the change of status before your current status expires or within 10 days after it expires, you are OK to stay.

-Yes, even if a few weeks late after your current H1 expires, you still have a very good chance to get your h1 extension approved because USCIS usually is not strict for H1 application.
