回复：H1B withdrawal 问题--急急急

我的OPT 今年2 月份生效， 4 月份申请的H1B， H1B 10 月1 号生效。现在被layoff， 没有找到新公司来sponsor transfer h1B.

律师建议我去revoke/cancel我的h1b 申请， 这样子我还能维持我的opt 继续找工作。

我网上搜了一下， 有些地方写着revoke/cancal h1b 申请的话同时把名额也cancel 掉了，

可我有听说名额是可以保留的， 只是h1b 是不生效而已。 请问专家哪个是正确的？
-I do not think so because your H1 status has not be effective yet. So, it is revoked, you can not keep the h1 quote.

另外revoke 是不是会把fraud fee 等等都返还？
-No any fee will be refunded.
