回复：换H1b会影响同时在申请的h4吗？

我现在是h1b post-doc, 准备换成staff h1b 还在同一个学校，律师说要申请新的h1b.

我老婆刚交上从opt转成h4(8/25的收据)的申请, 请问我现在申请换h1b会影响我老婆h4的申请吗？如果h4还没批准，换h1b的申请就递上去，会不会导致h4申请被拒，我老婆身份立即失效？
-If your wife's H4 has been approved, her h4 status will not affected and not need to file a new one even if you do H1 transfer to another new employer.

另外在同一个学校内部变换职务有必要申请新的h1b吗？
-Not need unless your job responsibilities have been changed. By the way, actually postdoc has no different from staff. So, why does this lwayer tell you to file a new H1 petition?
