PJiang: Is there any effect of applying H1-B in AOS status?

My wife and I send I-485 forms and I-765 forms in Aug(I am derivative applicant, I-140 was approved in Aug. either).
I wad laid off in June and change my status H1-B to H4 in Aug. Now I just found a new job, and I don't know which one is better, 1)apply(transfer) H1-B, 2)use my EAD(but I am still waiting for approval).
Sorry, I maybe confuse you. My question is:
Is there any effect to my I-485 application if applying H1-B during my AOS status?
