H1-B premium process or not?

My company used to agree to apply H1-B by premium process, but now they hesitate to do so. I know the quota will be run out soon, if I apply H1-B by using ordinary process, it means that six month or more, does it mean that I will not have a quota? do I need to use premium process to make sure to get a quota?

Please give me an answer, I have to convince my company right now.
