I assume you are I-485 pending.
The question should be if your I-485 applicantion deems to be abandon without AP.( my memory is that is not clear cut, expert please chipping in ) You can return with unexpired H1-B as lang as your canadian passport still valid at entry day ( for canadian passport only). Right now , passpport will swipe on the machine, all your info will come out in computer at the border.
