请问：Does employment verification required for H1B transfer?

准备换到另一大学。新学校在做H1B transfer时要我现在学校的employment verification letter。 请问employment verification lette是必需 的吗？我现在的学校会愿意出吗？我现在还不想让我老板知道换工作。
