本人现在是OPT，8月中到期。现公司已成功申请到H1B名额。如果现在的工作继续到十月，那就没什么问题。
但近来公司有消息要裁人，我觉得如果真裁的话，我的危险很大。如果不幸被裁，

新工作是不是必须在OPT到期前找到并transfer H1B名额？

如果在OPT到期前没有找到新工作，那我的H1B名额还有效吗？
-Yes, as long as your employer who sponsored your H1 does not withdraw the H1 before it is efffective.
我这种情况有什么对策？
-Talk to your employer not to cancel the h1 until you find a new job.
