那个人今天说：因为I-94已经过期了，不能申请延期，必须尽快离境，重新申请签证入境，还通知了系里马上停止pay。
学校的international office挺乌龙的，想问问大家有没有人遇到类似的情况，学校的这个说法对么？
-This last person in your university is absolutely right. All of the above saying was baseless. You should have asked your university to renew your H1 before it expired in April. Now I suggest that you ask your university to file an h1 extension petition immediately and use premium processing to get it approved. If you are lucky to get it approved with I-94, you just continue to work with the H1 status. If the H1 extention petition is approved without I-94, you need to go back to China to get an h1 visa to come back to re-instate your H1 status.
