但是呢，我又不想陷入任何非法拘留的情况。那么我该怎么做才能维持辞职之后的合法身份呢？
-Once you resign, you are out of status, but you are still lawfully present until your I-94 expires and thus, this will not affect you anything in the future after you leave U.S. So, you do not need to worry.
