请问是否最迟一定要在今年二月递交I-140申请？（公司律师说一定要在第六年到期一年前递交)。
-You can file PERM or I-140 in advance one year before your 6-year H1 duration ends to be qualified for extending your H1 status beyond 6 years. If your 6th year H1 duration will end within 60 days and you file your I-140 during this period, you can use Premium Processing to get your I-140 approved within 15 days and then, you can extend your H1 status for another 3-year duration beyond the 6th year.

另外离境一年后是否可以重新申请H1B？
-Yes, but you need to get a new H1 cap if you want to work in a private company.
