What if I choose to apply H4 here in the U.S., I plan to stay here for another 1 month to look for jobs to transfer my H1B, and hoping by applying to COS to H4 now will limit my gap with 10 days... and if I don't find anything during a month, I will go back to China and apply for H-4 from U.S. Consulate, is it permissable to apply H4 from US Consulate while COS to H4 in U.S. is pending? Do I have to wait until I receive the approval notice in the U.S. (usually takes 3-6 months) before I am allowed to re-enter U.S. again?
